I know you're out there

So I have Google Analytics running on this site, so I know people are out there reading this. Just drop a comment on this entry to let the world know who you are. Maybe I'll write more interesting things if I know a little about the people reading this.

Come on, don't be afraid. You don't have to use your real name if you don't want.

Hi. This is the first time, I think, I've visited your blog.

Something about me that might interest you, presumably a physics minor, is that I have a Ph.D. from the University of Arizona, in Optical Science. Also I have a Master of Electrical Engineering degree (UA) and a Master of Mathematics degree (from BYU).

I just started a blog today.

I'll check back on your blog from time to time.

I'm reading you... mwah ha ha

Hey, Nectar commented on my blog too. I wonder if he reads the 100 Hour Board.

By the way, what are Google analytics? Is it better than site meter?

Yes, I do read the 100 Hour Board. That's what got me started on this blog business.

Google Analytics provides data tracking for your site. I guess that is similar to SiteMeter, however SiteMeter appears to be fee-based (Google is free), and it also seems to be more focused on advertising. Google Analytics allows you to define goals for your site, track progress of those goals, determine how many people visit your site and from where, and a bunch of other nifty info.

Sorry "The Next Bob Barker" I had to delete your comment because using the information made it really easy to find my real identity. But I know who you are too.

I just read your blog for the first time and had to laugh at this post. I read TONS of blogs totally anonymously and never comment because I don't know those people and I don't want them to feel weird that some random girl is reading their life stories. Your post made me feel like I was being called out.

I roomed with a current board writer our freshman year, she has a blog, her blog links to Duchess's blog, and from there I go everywhere.

I live in AZ, I went to BYU for 2 years, and I used to be a huge fan of the board. I recognize your 'nym, so you must have asked quite a few questions!
